Job: Wireless Technician – Detroit

Opportunity

Cybertech is looking for a Wireless Technician to join our team located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will perform Level 1 or 2 wireless support on wireless hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Configure, setup and deploy wireless hardware and software for Wireless Mesh Network
• Identify malfunctioning hardware and/or software for the purpose of implementing necessary corrective actions, resolve technical problems and provide ongoing support
• Perform routine computer equipment and software installations, troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve any related problems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Level 1 or 2 wireless support
• Background with Network carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, or another cellular carrier or wireless experience preferred
• Experience in 802.11, Tropos, Itron, or Wireless Mesh Network preferred
