Job: Electrical Engineer – Plymouth

Opportunity

Our client is a well-established global leader in product safety, EMC testing, regulatory affairs and certification. We are currently searching for an EMC Engineer to join the Plymouth, MI team for a 2^nd or 3^rd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

– Perform immunity and emission testing per requirements detailed in international EMC standards and test procedures.

– Review test plans and specifications prior to testing.

– Works with Account Executives and Customer Service Administrators to determine customers’ testing requirements and charges for required tests and other services.

– Assist clients in all facets of the regulatory approvals process, including design reviews, test plan preparation, EMC and Safety troubleshooting/mitigation, and agency submittals.

– Assist clients and other company personnel in the preparation, review, and submittal of reports and other documentation to gain regulatory approval and/or certification from various agencies and organizations.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field

– Two years of experience in EMC testing

– Able to work 2^nd or 3^rd shift

– Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

– Detail oriented, self-motivated and common sense approach to solving problems.
