Opportunity
Our client, who specializes in Gases and Chemicals are currently looking to fill a Programmer Analyst position located in Allentown, PA. The candidate will be part of a software development team in the Innovate Process Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong, broad knowledge of systems development, database development and Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure. At times there there may be calls with Asia in the evening.
Responsibilities
• Interface directly with business and technology representatives for database and application design, development and troubleshooting efforts.
• Microsoft server administration, such as an IIS Web administration, SQL DBA administration and file server administration as a plus.
• Development experience with Microsoft’s .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2010 IDE, using Visual Basic as the development language, with some C#.
• Experience in developing ASP.NET and Winforms applications using Visual Basic and MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
Qualifications
must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT or business curriculum with minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing applications in a development environment consists of Client/Server environment utilizing Visual Studio and the .NET framework using Visual Basic, C# and Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services.
• Experience in Reporting Services, ASP.NET with MVC, EntitySQL, Silverlight, HTML5.
• Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Microsoft server administration, such as an IIS Web administration, SQL DBA administration, and file server administration is a plus.
• Ability to apply group development standards and work constructively within a development team.
