Job: Medical Report Editor

A health care company currently seeking a part-time or full-time Medical Report Editor (Quality Assurance Analyst) responsible for assuring physician reports are completed to company standards and compliant with client expectations.

Must enjoy and have excellent editing skills.

Essential Duties including but not limited to:

• Perform editing on medical reports
• Ensure all client instructions and specifications are followed
• Identifies inconsistencies within report
• Ensures provider credentials and signature are adhered to the final report
• Reviews content and format and ensures report is professional and meets quality standards
• Assists in resolution of customer complaints and quality assurance issues as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent editing skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Must have ability to operate fax, copier, scanner, telephone and general computer skills
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize assigned work in a timely and efficient manner
• Exhibit professionalism and ability to communicate in a professional manner to clients, and management
• Excellent English usage, grammar and punctuation a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and the internet
• 4 year degree preferred, English major a plus
• Knowledge of auto no-fault, workers compensation, and disability preferred
