Job Information	Opportunity Life Science manufacturer seeking Automation Engineer in Carlsbad, California. This position with work directly with the Senior Automation Engineer to support site requirements with a focus on operational technology interacting with IT. Willing to train the right candidate. This is a fulltime, onsite, contract position with the opportunity to for direct hire after 1 year. Requirements: Assist with equipment testing and debug activities Perform cGMP reviews of executed automation work plans and tests for completeness and accuracy Perform quality assessments and provide support for investigations Troubleshoot process, equipment and system malfunctions or failures Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field Working knowledge of automation components including Rockwell, PLC, HMI, and SCADA Basic understanding of IT and industrial network concepts Knowledge of electronics and electrical (low voltage) concepts Working knowledge of OS and how it relates to networking and domain integration Knowledge of database system such as MS SQL Benefits: Pay rate is up to $32 per hour or $66k commensurate with experience Optional health benefits Optional 401k plan Contract position with the opportunity for direct hire after 1 year
