Job: Test Engineer (Automotive) – Westland

Opportunity

Our client is a well-established leader in the provision of technically demanding laboratory-based testing, calibration and advisory services. If you are a Test Engineer that is looking for a new opportunity in the Westland, Michigan area, we may have just the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Manage tests/projects from start to finish including customer interaction, quote generation, fixture design, technician support, data analysis, reporting, and invoicing.
• Provide the highest level of customer support possible. Responsible to build business opportunities with key customers by providing superior service and technical expertise.
• Assist with continuous laboratory improvement initiatives.
• Diagnoses and resolve test cell equipment problems in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
• Experience with Servo Hydraulic fatigue test equipment preferred.
• Test experience from none to 5 years (more experienced candidates will also be considered).
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and be on the test floor as needed with the Technicians.

Benefits

• Pay of $55K to $65K annually, based on experience
