Job: Supply Chain Specialist

Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a Supply Chain Expert t to join their team in Jaffrey, NH. This role is responsible for the execution of processes related to product availability. Our mission is to optimize our inventory to ensure we have “the right products, at the right quantity, in the right place” to meet our customers’ demand within a global network.  This new team member will develop an action plan to improve customer service levels and KPI performance. This role will report to the Head of Network Planning and is expected to become a permanent hire aimed at reinforcing the existing Network Planning team and support additional activities.

Responsibilities

• Communication with the Distribution Centers, Production, Customer Service, and Sales throughout the company to improve service
• Responsible for the requirements planning and stocking in the Distribution Centers
• Release of the daily orders for intercompany suppliers
• Coordination of the supply chain between supplying and global receiving sites
• Monitoring and action to address back orders
• Identify and follow up customer specific requirements, making use of the whole logistics network to serve the customer
• Lead process improvement activities to improve customer service levels

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain or related field
• 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience
• Experience using Oracle or SAP highly preferred
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; will be working with diverse global teams
• Computational skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Solid analytical skills and results oriented
• Able to effectively influence in an extremely matrixed organization
• Customer focused, proponent of change, excellent teamwork skills

Benefits

• Pay is up to $66K annually ($30 to $33 per hour), commensurate with experience
• Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
• 1-year contract with plan for direct hire
