Opportunity
Our client, a Fortune 500 company is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in New Milford, PA. The selected candidate will responsible for development and documentation of user stories, use cases, features, and requirements in support of client customer self-service applications.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between IT and the business unit for the development, application and optimization of certain software products applicable to their Business Performance Systems including but not limited to Ogsys, DocVue, and SQL Access Databases.
- Gather/Analyzes information, designs recommends and implements solutions on a variety of IT-related projects.
- Create business requirement documents. Develop, document and maintain project features, requirements, test plans and test cases.
- Promotes continuous improvement philosophy and methodology that result in a continuous improvement culture within Information Technology.
- May assist with formal or informal presentations.
- May provide assistance with preparation of budget forecasting and other related financial reporting.
- May utilize a variety of Operating System principles and tools to facilitate effective solutions that improve process design in all areas of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related discipline is preferred.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from among a broad range of alternatives and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.
- Understanding of IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, architectures, systems design, and systems integration and an in-depth knowledge of accepted IT processes related to asset acquisition, inventory processes and supplier contract management.
- Solid Project Management skills and ability to create clearly defined business cases.
- Proficient in test case design and possess the ability to create test data and queries to enable test execution and verification of results.
- IT Project Knowledge, advanced MS Office skills (Access, Excel).
