Job: Scientist Cheminformatics – Remote

Opportunity

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a REMOTE Application Scientist (Cheminformatics) to join their team in Burlington, MA. This role will work closely with sales leads on consultative selling and will extend technical support to customers for transformational software solutions in small molecule drug discovery. The candidate may expect to travel 20%-30%, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Works as an expert in AI and Cheminformatics software products to independently provide highly technical presentations and software demonstrations
• Consistently provides advanced training and follow-up with excellent client support
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Product Engineers to address technical questions and represents the product expertise of Cheminformatics software
• Drives pre-sales activities including developing and planning solution presentations, demonstrating conceptual and proposed solutions, and providing technical or product guidance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computational Chemistry, Cheminformatics, or related technical discipline, PhD a plus
• 1+ years’ industry experience in Computational Chemistry or Cheminformatics software
• Results-oriented, with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales
• Strong interpersonal communication skills in Technical Sales and negotiation

Benefits

• Pay range is up to $110K annually ($50 to $55 per hour, commensurate with experience)
