Job: Sales Executive – Dallas

Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Executive. In this high profile and challenging role, you will report to the V.P. of Sales with ownership for both setting strategy and leading sales efforts across North America for Ethernet Switches. You will drive revenue growth with local sales teams, centered around Ethernet switching for 10/40/100Gb Ethernet in Data Center Enterprise/Cloud/Big Data/Data Analytics/HPC solutions.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing account relationships with the key people within the potential client organizations by providing high level product information and explanations to successfully address the clients’ needs. Responsibilities include achieving assigned sales quotas together with customer goals, as well as developing business and proposals for presentation to customers, coordinating account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development.

• Net New Sales Development & Account Management
• Developing partnerships
• Provide quarterly targets
• 35% travel required (Looking for Austin or Dallas resident)

Qualifications

• 10+ years current experience in sales with a successful sales track record of achieving & exceeding quota
• An understanding of the business issues of large enterprises Networking/Switching /Data Center technology background
• Ability to develop marketing plans, market knowledge and understanding the customers’ needs
• Focus will be on closing skills and meeting sales goals
• Self-starter who is able to successfully work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Must have experience to Data Center
