Opportunity
Our client, a global packaging company, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their R&D facility in Manchester, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for 5 to 10 individual qualification projects at once, small scale and relatively low complexity, managing all aspects of the purchasing order process for capital equipment projects.

Responsibilities
- Support project management activities including scope, timeline, action tracker and risk documents
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement projects focusing on speed to market, development efficiency, cost, quality and on-time delivery
- Creation of projects in the SAP Project Management module
- Invoice reconciliation and invoice approval processing
- Publish regular status reports outlining project status, risks and issues and coordinate actions to create resolutions
- Manage purchase order requests from Program Managers and plant resources
- Maintain capital spending log and issue project spending reports to Program Managers
- Work with Capital Accounting group as required in order to reallocate funds
Qualifications
- Strong project management background
- College degree in Project Management or related field is a plus
- Experience with SAP Project Management module is a plus
Benefits
- Pay ranges from $50K to $54K annually ($25 to $27 per hour), commensurate with experience
- Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
