Job: Process Engineer – Bellevue

Opportunity

Our client, a global packaging company is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in Bellevue, OH. The selected candidate will work in the Extrusion Blow Molding department.

Responsibilities

• · Develop machine criteria for plastic processes
• · Perform startups of new equipment, tooling and processes, as well as design of experiments to establish process
• · parameters
• · Produce sample products as necessary
• · Work with QA to measure containers to confirm physical characteristics and establish performance capabilities
• · Communicate quality and/or required equipment maintenance issues to management for prompt disposition
• · Supports Amcor by conducting tests and trials on containers or processes
• · Visit customers to validate container functionality, as necessary
• · Schedule/conduct training classes to inform and teach Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work
• · Instructions (WI’s)
• · Provide leadership and direction in establishing and maintaining processes and driving continuous improvement
• · Coordinate with mold shops regarding cleaning, repairs, and modification

Qualifications

• · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• · Experience operating extrusion machines, engineering, and/or maintenance
• · Possess a mechanical, technical, and process aptitude
• · Solid background in processing/plastics is a plus
