Our client, a global packaging company, is seeking an HR Administrator to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for HR admin activities in support of the North America HR Shared Services Team. Hours will range from 24 to 40 hours per week, depending on workload.

  • Manage business unit and shared service employee payroll changes and ensure legal compliance
  • Prepare and keep current materials/policies and communicate updates for field HR Managers
  • Maintain electronic document control for HR Managers
  • Assist with new employee orientation and on-boarding
  • Manage various reimbursement programs, collect approvals and update the recordkeeping
  • Coordinate communications of employee status changes with other departments
  • Participate in the Safety/Activities Committees
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive company, employee, and candidate information


  • Associate’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Experience administering Human Resources Systems and performing HR related work
  • 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic organization


  • Pay is up to $40K annually (up to $20 per hour), commensurate with experience
  • Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
  • Contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
