| Job Information | Opportunity Our client, an Austin based mobile banking solutions company has an immediate open for a front-end developer. If you’re looking to work in a start-up environment and be constantly challenged by change this is the position for you! You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of team members; including architects, analysts, database engineers and UI designers to deliver leading-edge mobile solutions. Specific experience in banking and/or entertainment industries is preferred. Proven experience working in a high-volume, web-oriented environment is also desired. Candidates that tend to be successful working here are well-rounded, self-starters and not afraid to take risks, fail and learn.
Responsibilities – Utilize HTML5, CSS, Javascript/JQuery, Ruby on Rails and related technologies for the front-end development of mobile banking solutions
Qualifications – Expert knowledge and experience creating visually appealing web pages or interfaces using HTML5, CSS, Javascript/JQuery, Ruby on Rails and related technologies. – Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibilities – Understanding web security within the browser especially in a mobile environment – Experience implementing JSON-based web services – Experience working under Agile development methodology – A solid grasp on relational database technologies – Experience with mobile (iOS and Android) application development is desired Apply This is a direct-hire position with a salary of approximately $75,000 annually.
