Job: Finance Controller – Bamberg

Opportunity

Our Fortune 500 client is currently seeking a Finance Controller for a 4-month assignment at their Bamberg, SC factory. This client, a global technology group with 40,000 employees in some 60 countries, develops leading-edge technologies, and excellent products, solutions and services for more than 30 market segments. The pay is $50 per hour for this temporary assignment.

Responsibilities Support the financial analysis needs of the company which includes coordination of the annual budget process.

• Maintain plant financial records according to IFRS.  Includes monthly closing, year-end audits and reconciling accounts

• Business partner supporting Lead Center and Division Manager

• Maintain internal controls in accordance with Company policy
• Prepare annual cost plan setting work center rates for inventory valuation and standard product cost
• Preparation of appropriation requests (AR) and analysis
• Coordinate physical inventories and encourage cycle counts
• Participate in and support lean/continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Advance degree or professional certification preferred
• 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with costing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards
• ERP system experience and consolidation software knowledge

• Interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of Management
