Opportunity
Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Enterprise Systems Engineer to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI. The selected candidate will be mainly responsible for maintaining and running a Data Center. The ideal candidate will have junior level experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and run a Data Center, Rack server, run cabling/power, monitor coding, keep stock inventory, and create processes
- Work from a Ticket Queue system, independently within a team environment
- Asset Management
- Work with Vendors and Purchasing Hardware/Software
- Disaster Recovery and Emergency Procedures
- System monitoring using Solarwinds
- Work with print servers and printers in a complex environment
- Sometimes work irregular hours and/or on-call, including weekends
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience, including but not limited to:
- Windows Servers – 2012 through 2019, Dell Hardware – PowerEdge server line
- VMware – 6, Windows Clients – 7, 10, Citrix – Xenapp 6.5, Fuse, Weblogic
- Backup – Netbackup, Networker, Index Engines
- Linux Servers – RedHat RHEL4 through 7
- SAN/NAS – EMC VNX, Powermax; Fundamentals of attaching storage to a server
- Trading Applications (Endur, Gmotion, Adapt2)
- Basic databases (Oracle, SQL)
- Telephony – IPC, NICE call recording, Avaya/Lucent phone systems
- Knowledge of using a DRAC/RILO
- Understanding of SOX framework/Audits, and networking architecture – switches, routers, fiber, DMZ, multicasting
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work on-call/after hours, including weekends
Benefits
- Pay is from $85K to $95K annually ($42.50 to $47.50 per hour), commensurate with experience

- Contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
