Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Data Science Application Developer to join their Modeling and Data Science team located in Allentown, PA. The selected candidate will focus on project work involving the development of flexible data software infrastructures and data science solutions

Responsibilities
- Transform customer business requirements into comprehensive solutions using the appropriate methods
- Utilize tools and technologies in an R&D environment
- Maintain a growing library of dashboards, reports and interactive data visualizations using state-of-the-art visualization tools and techniques
Qualifications
- Excellent with next generation data analytics engines which allow efficient scaling of advanced analytic solutions (Python, R, Shiny, Spark, Hadoop)
- A strong background in agile development and data science solutions deployment
- Expertise with designing and maintaining relational databases (SQL), as well as NoSQL databases
- Excellent with maintaining a linux based data science cluster
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Engineering/Computer Science background
- Proficient knowledge in core web technologies including CSS, JavaScript (D3.js, jQuery, etc.), node.js framework, XML/JSON, and Web Services (REST)
Benefits
- $160K to 174K annually ($80 to $87 per hour)
