Opportunity
Our Fortune 500 client, a manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking a Construction Field Superintendent to join their team. The Superintendent will work at the project sites and occasionally from the headquarters in Allentown, PA. Candidates may be from just about anywhere in continental U.S., as long as working onsite at projects is acceptable.
Responsibilities
· Manage the construction of the assigned projects, focusing on Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost
· Sole representative on a site, member of the construction management team or the site lead, depending on project size
· Directly manages the Contractors selected for the project
· Manage Lump Sum Contracts with extras and reimbursables
· Serve as an Advisor when our Customers manage the Contractors
· Be involved in field activities to assess and influence safety and quality, and have a good understanding of progress and productivity
· Manage the turnover of completed construction systems to the Commissioning Team
Qualifications
· Demonstrated record of high performance with at least 10 years of direct Process Plant/ Industrial Field Construction experience
· A track record of success in safety, quality, contract management, and planning
· Strong Mechanical, Structural and Civil experience
· Experience with front-end E&I activities
· Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, prior superintendent experience
· Demonstrated use of tools and work practices to accomplish goals
Benefits
Pay is $500.00 per day ($62.50 per hour or up to about $125K annually)
Expenses and/or Per Diem available for travel
