Job: Chemistry Lab Technician – Dallas

Responsibilities

• Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for QC tests, research, or process control.
• Tests and analyzes products, materials and substances to determine strength, stability, purity, chemical content, and other characteristics.
• Tests and analyzes such as organic solvents, acids, inorganic acids and bases, and mixed solvents.
• Routine wet chemistry analysis such as GC, HPLC, UV-VIS, Auto-Titrator, Conductometer, Viscometer, pH meter, and SEMI and ACS method requirements electronic grade chemicals.
• Records test data and observations as a permanent record (i.e., in laboratory notebooks or data storage system such as WinLIMS).
• Make calculations according to detailed standard operating procedures/instructions.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or equivalent experience
• At least 1-year experience in Wet Chemistry Lab
• Experience working in a QA laboratory (chemical experience preferred)
• Experience with analytical tools such as ICP, HPLC, pH meters, conductivity meter, ICP OES, ICP MS, etc.
• Knowledge of chemical analyses and processes
