Job: Automotive Test Technician – Auburn Hills

Opportunity

Our client, a global testing, certification, inspection and training provider, seeks an Automotive Test Technician in Auburn Hills, MI. This lab conducts component durability testing on a wide range of products for the automotive industry. The selected candidate demonstrates characteristics that foster team progress, takes the initiative to take on challenging assignments and the ability to create opportunity where little exist. This is a second shift opportunity (2:30pm-10:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-dynamic shaker and environmental chamber testing
• Support overall laboratory development
• Assist fellow technicians/ engineers on products and processes
• Prepare customers samples and assist in calibration of test equipment

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• 1-2+ years of automotive testing experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Experience with electro-dynamic shakers and environmental chambers is a plus

Benefits

• Pay is $18-$20 per hour ($36K-$40K annually)
