Our Fortune 500 client is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join their team located in Allentown, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible for design and development of SAP applications and integration to associated bolt-ons. The incumbent will report to a team lead in the IT Applications organization and will be involved in a wide range of challenging SAP based IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in development for IT projects involving SAP applications by leveraging ABAP skills to develop solutions for projects
  • Participate as SAP developer through all phases of new solutions’ projects
  • Work closely with functional project managers, basis and infrastructure teams in the design and implementation of solutions and enhancements
  • Learn, help, design and implement cross business process solutions
  • Provide technical support for SAP applications including defect resolutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on SAP ABAP application development (BAPI, ALE, IDOC, BADI, Web Dynpro, Forms)
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP Fiori development and SAP cloud technologies 
  • 1+ year of experience using the Neptune technology for mobile applications using ABAP 
  • Experience with RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms) components of SAP development

Responsibilities

  • Perform container changes (bottles, drums, totes, bulk tankers)
  • Perform alarm response for delivery equipment
  • Perform non-invasive preventative maintenance using documented procedures

  • During some tasks, the technician will be required to climb 15ft. ladders, wear fall protection and work from an elevated platform
  • 12-hour shifts with an alternating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
  • Rotate from days to nights every 3 months

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Manufacturing/Mechanical
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred
  • Strong team players willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts (opportunities for overtime pay)
  • Able to perform physical labor including lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs
  • Frequent movements including bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders, pushing and pulling
  • At times, will need to wear protective equipment such as respirator and ear plugs
  • At all times, will need to read and repeatedly follow detailed written process instructions

Opportunity

Our client, a global testing, certification, inspection and training provider, seeks a 1st shift Test Lab Technician in Holland, MI. This lab conducts component durability testing on a wide range of products from the Automotive, Locomotive, Aerospace and Medical Industries. Many tests are conducted using a combination of elevated temperature, pressure, and/or flow rates. A Device Under Test (DUT) is often powered during testing and requires various measurements (physical or electrical) taken throughout the course of a test procedure. The ideal applicant will have prior test lab experience, a strong mechanical and electrical background, fluids testing experience, and a personality that includes being detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Program and run Electro-Dynamic Shakers, Environmental Test Chambers, and Pressure/ Thermal/ Mechanical Cycle Equipment.
  • Document equipment and component performance during testing.
  • Hook-up to High Voltage Sources (240/480VAC); Measure Voltage, Current and Resistance.
  • Mix Internal Corrosion Solutions (NaCI/NaCH03) with Water/ Glycol.
  • Application of Automotive Fluids (Brake Fluid, ATF, Oil, Gasoline).

Qualifications

  • Experience with controls such as PLCs- RS Logix, Siemens 353, Allen Bradley, Panel Builder.
  • Experience with instrumentation such as Pressure Transducers, flow meters, thermocouples.
  • Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, Visual Basic, LabView, MS Office and Siemens I-Config.
  • Willingness to occasionally work overtime, weekends, and/or 2nd shift is highly desired
