Opportunity
Our Client is currently seeking a DataPower Consultant to join their team in Detroit, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting IBM DataPower appliances.

Responsibilities
- Manage, troubleshoot, monitor, tune, upgrade and maintain IBM DataPower appliances
- Manage and support various information security technologies including Firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, Anti Virus, SSL-VPN, IDP, etc.
- Configure web service proxy for SOAP and REST based web services using DataPower
- Hands-on coding with various DataPower appliances
- Provide on-call, off-hours support as scheduled
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in deploying, managing, troubleshooting and coding IBM DataPower appliances
- Flexibility to perform on-call responsibilities to provide off-hours support as scheduled
- Understanding and experience in security configuration such as AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing), SSL/TLS, SAML, Kerberos, etc.
- Experience in the deployment of XSLT, XSDs and WSDLs
- Strong expertise in DataPower services such as Web Service Proxy (WSP, Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPG), etc.
Benefits
- Pay ranges from $110K to $120K annually ($55 to $60 per hour), commensurate with experience
- Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- 1-year contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
