Job: IT Business Analyst – Detroit

Opportunity

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team in Detroit, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for facilitating working sessions using targeted facilitation and advanced modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related discipline
• 6+ years of Information Technology experience
• 1+ years of hands-on experience working in an environment that utilizes agile development methodologies
• Ability to perform analysis and support teams during an analysis effort
• Expertise in identifying user stories, use cases, features and requirements
• Creative problem-solving skills and effective communication skills
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to foster collaboration within and across teams

Benefits

• Pay ranges from $90K to $94K annually ($45 to $47 per hour), commensurate with experience
• Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
• Contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
