Job: EMC Engineer – Southfield

Opportunity

Our client, a leading developer of custom-engineered and application-specific products and solutions utilizing the latest technologies, seeks an EMC Test Engineer in Southfield, MI for a full-time opportunity with a lab in growth mode. This is with a Tier 1 global automotive supplier and pay is expected to be competitive.

Responsibilities

• Perform immunity, RF, and emission testing per requirements detailed in international EMC standards and test procedures
• Document results of testing and communicate with engineers
• Assist engineers to determine testing requirements and charges for required tests and other services

Qualifications

• Solid/significant experience with GMW3097 EMC testing
• Automotive test lab experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is highly desired
