Job: Electrical Engineer Automotive – Plymouth

Opportunity

Our client, a global testing, certification, inspection and training provider, seeks an Automotive EMC Technician in Plymouth, MI. This lab conducts component EMC and RF testing of the latest electronic gadgets in the Automotive Industry. The ideal applicant will have an electrical background and work habits that include being detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform immunity, RF, and emission testing per requirements detailed in international EMC standards and test procedures
• Document results of testing and communicate with engineers
• Assist engineers to determine testing requirements and charges for required tests and other services

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in EMC testing
• Automotive test lab experience
• Day shift initially, may transition to 2nd or 3rd shift
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Associate’s degree in related field is a plus
